Ready, who was employed by the Grand Trunk Railroad for nine years as a locomotive engineer. In 1934, his death ended thirty six years of service with the Detroit United Railway/Detroit Street Railway as a motorman on the Jefferson line, assistant superintendent of the Woodward and Pontiac lines, inventor and instructor of motormen in the DSR training school. 11" x 15" Pen & Ink Prints available | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
